Deutsche Telekom wellicht

Vandaag verscheen op webwereld een interview met Lothar Pauly, lid van de Raad van Bestuur van Deutsche Telekom AG. Hij brult oorlogstaal over het opeten van de IT-markt, wellicht moet ik hem eens een mailtje sturen, want ik zou het niet erg vinden om voor de DT te werken. Af en toe een tripje naar Duitsland, gratis kaarten voor Bayern München… en oh… toevallig sponsort de Telekom ook de WM2006, een stuk interessanter dan de Astronauts!

The European market for companies providing IT services to enterprises is ripe for consolidation, according to a senior executive at the IT services arm of German telecommunications operator Deutsche Telekom AG. “To operate successfully in this business, you need to be big; you need to have scale,” said Lothar Pauly, a member of the board at Deutsche Telekom and chief executive officer of the company’s IT services subsidiary, T-Systems International GmbH, in an interview in Berlin. “We will be looking at acquisition opportunities in key markets.”
